Collier and McKeel Tennessee White Dog Whiskey is used in this summertime version of a Julep. Served in Mason Jars, this is a great afternoon refresher.
Strawberry Julep
2 Large Ripe Strawberries, washed, hulled and cut into 1/4 inch pieces
2 tsp sugar
3 leaves of fresh mint
2 oz. Collier and McKeel Tennessee White Dog Whiskey
1/2 oz lemon juice
Sprig of mint for garnish
Combine cut strawberries, mint, sugar leaves in a cocktail shaker. Stir and let stand until the strawberries are macerated, up to 10 minutes. Add Collier and McKeel Tennessee White Dog Whiskey, lemon juice and ice to the shaker and shake vigoriously for an additional minute. Pour contents into a mason jar and add ice as needed. Garnish with a sprig of mint.

You can blame much of the progress around the distillery on this guy. He wears many hats and an occasional mask. Please welcome Ryan to the Collier and McKeel Family.
The Proprietor

The Proprietor's Hat. Although we are a young whiskey company, we at Collier and McKeel think traditions are important. A family tradition for the men in our family is to wear this Stetson Hat and I do so proudly. The distillers of Tennessee Whiskey also celebrate many proud traditions. Our whiskey is made the right way. The Tennessee way.

"Truly great friends are hard to find, difficult to leave, and impossible to forget. - G. Randolf."
Well said Mr. Randolf. The Proprietor of Collier and McKeel Tennessee Whiskey thanks his truly great friends for their support as we soon start a new tradition of toasting our friends with our own truly great whiskey.

Collier and McKeel Tennessee Whiskey is the result of traditions handed down for generations. When two of my Great Grandfathers were young men, well before the Civil War, it was common for folks to make whiskey for their family and friends. Our whiskey is made in honor of Mr. Collier and Mr. McKeel. We hope our friends enjoy this new tradition. Here's a toast to family and friends. Cheers.
